    This research develops a mathematical model for improving runway's capacity using landing re-sequencing approach. The case study Suvarnnabhumi airport isapplied.     This research aims to develop a two-step approach to assess the truck receiving area of a Just-In-Time (JIT) warehouse and determine the optimal schedule to reduce the congestion within the study area. The first step uses the simulation tool (i.,e ARENA) to assess the congestion and bottlenecks based on the current situation. It suggests physical and operational improvements to eliminate the bottlenecks effectively.
