ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวัดกับชุมชน กรณีศึกษา วัดนามสมมุติกับ ชุมชน นามสมมุติ จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี

Abstract

การศึกษาเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวัดกับชุมชน 2) เพื่อศึกษาเงื่อนไขความร่วมมือระหว่างวัดกับชุมชนในด้านการพัฒนาชุมชน 3) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาอุปสรรคและแนวทางในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวัดกับชุนชน การศึกษางานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) ชิ้นนี้ได้เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากเอกสาร และกลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูลที่สำคัญ (Key Informant) โดยการเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง (Purposive sampling) จากพระสงฆ์ 4 รูป ผู้นำชุมชน 2 คน ข้าราชการ 5 คน ชาวบ้าน 13 คน รวมทั้งสิ้น 24 คน โดยใช้แนวทางการสัมภาษณ์ แบบเจาะลึก (In-depth Interview) จากผู้ให้ข้อมูลที่สำคัญ (Key-Informant) และวิธีการสังเกตแบบมีส่วนร่วม (Participant Observation) ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวัดกับชุมชนโดยภาพรวมยังถือว่ายังมีความสัมพันธ์ที ดีต่อกัน ด้วยตัวชุมชนเองเป็นชุมชนชนบทขนาดเล็กที ยังไม่เข้าถึงต่อวัฒนธรรมเมืองมากนัก ชุมชนจึงมีระบบการพึ งพาอาศัยกันในรูปแบบเครือญาติค่อนข้างสูง รวมทั้งยังมีปัจจัยอื่นที่เข้ามาสนับสนุนให้ชุมชนเกิดความสามัคคีต่อกัน เช่น ระบบความเชื่อ ลักษณะนิสัยชุมชน, บทบาทของสงฆ์-วัด, นโยบายพัฒนาชุมชนของวัดและโรงเรียน ที่เป็นปัจจัยสำคัญต่อการเกิดปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวัดและชุมชน เงื่อนไขความร่วมมือระหว่างวัดกับชุมชนในมิติการพัฒนา จากการศึกษาพบว่า พฤติกรรมเอื้อเฟื้อเผื่แแผ่ของชาวบ้านที่การยึดถือผ่านลักษณะนิสัยชุมชน ความเชื่อ และการคาดหวังผลประโยชน์ทางสังคม ได้หลอมรวมชุมชนเข้าด้วยกันให้มีน้ำหนึ่งใจเดียวกัน ส่งผลให้ทำให้ชุมชนเกิดความร่วมมือได้ง่าย ปัญหาอุปสรรคที่คาดว่าอาจจะเกิดขึ้นได้ในอนาคต 2 สาเหตุ ได้แก่ (1) ผลพวงของการ พัฒนาชุมชน คาดว่าอนาคตทั้งชุมชนและวัดจะมีการพัฒนาที่ชัดเจนเป็นรูปธรรมมากยิ่งขึ้น อาจทำให้บริบทและวิถีชีวิตของชุมชนต้องเปลี่ยนแปลงไป เหมือนดังที่เคยเกิดขึ้นมาในอดีต ซึ่งอาจจะส่งผลให้ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวัดกับชุมชนจำต้องห่างเหินกันมากยิ่งขึ้น (2) บทบาทของพระสงฆ์ จากงานวิจัยมองว่า ถ้าชุมชนและวัดไม่เตรียมแผนการปรับตัวให้สอดคล้องกับบริบทชุมชนที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวัดกับชุมชนอาจประสบกับปัญหาขึ้นซ้ำรอยเดิมดัง ในอดีต แนวทางส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ทีจะเกิดขึ้นในอนาคตสำหรับวัด จำต้องใช้หลักธรรมาภิบาล ขึ้นมาให้อยู่ภายใต้การบริหารจัดการทั้ง 6 องค์ประกอบ อันได้แก่ (1) หลักนิติธรรม (2) หลักคุณธรรม (3) หลักความโปร่งใส (4) หลักการมีส่วนร่วม (5) หลักความรับผิดชอบ (6) หลักความคุ้มค่า ซึ่งมันจะช่วยเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งและภาพลักษณ์ที่ดีให้แก่วัด การศึกษาครั้งนี้มองว่า ในอนาคตข้างหน้าวัดจะมีการพัฒนาสิ่งต่างๆ ให้เห็นเป็นรูปธรรมมากขึ้น อาทิ อาคารสถานที่บุคลากร ของวัดที่เพิ่มขึ้น ถ้าทางวัดไม่ปรับแผนการบริหารองค์กรและบุคลากรให้สอดคล้องกับยุคสมัย วัดจะเกิดปัญหาต่อความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวัดกับชุมชนได้ในอนาคต

The objectives of the study were:1) to study the relationship between the temple and thecommunity; 2) to study the cooperating conditions between the temple and the community in community development; 3) to study the problem and the guidelines for the correction in the relationship between the temple and thecommunity. This study is a qualitative researchwhich has collected information for the document and key informant by selecting a purposive sampling; including 4monks, 2 community leaders, 5 government officials, and 13 people. The total interviewedpeople are 24. The approach used was in-depth interviews from keyinformant and participant observation, The study found thatthe relationship between the temple and the communityis stilla good relationship. Because the community is small village that cultural city system has not came into existence much. Communities still have dependence in the form of kinship friendly relationship is quite high. Also included are other factors to encourage community unity. Such as belief systems, community character, the role of monks -temples, community policy development of temples and schools. The study ofthe cooperating conditions between the temple and community in community development found thatthe community has a behavior of helping each other very well, because the community has existed to belief systems, community character andparticipation in social benefits.The community itself has got good collaboration. The relationship problems may occur in the future for two reasons.Firstly, the impact of community development.Secondly, the role of monks,predicting if the community is not prepared to plan and adapt to meet the changing urban context,the relationship may be faced with the same problems again as in the past. Guidelines to promote future relations for the temple are the following. Principles of good governance must be established to under management including the six elements.They arerule of law, ethics, transparency,participation, responsibility, and value. These will help strengthen and creating good image for the temple.Because the temple will be developed on the subject premises and the number of personnel increased quickly.If the temple does not adjust the plan of organization and human resources along with the development of the object,the temple will face a problem with the relationship between the temple and the community in the future.
