The purpose of this study was to learn life skills and to apply design thinking process with inmates. The research method was action research. The sample consisted of 20 inmates aged 17 to 20 in Bannkaruna Juvenile Vocational Training Centre for Boys. The instruments used in this study include in-depth interview and design thinking process. The results were as follow: the subjects have low self-awareness and empathy than any other life skill component.
