NIDA Transformation

Abstract

The National Institute of Development Administration or NIDA is an institution that has played a role as a postgraduate institution bringing human resources into society for national development for more than 5 decades.There has been a change and development of the teaching and learning styles, including academic services together with creating change for social development all along.And now in the 6th decade, the societal pattern has changed dramatically due to the use of technology in every context of life. Many countries have intensified competition in the field of development, eventuating in the inevitable and rapid changes of the old way of living.NIDA realizes the importance of institutional development to keep pace with the global change, therefore aiming to become a leading higher education institution-a center of knowledge for international development. With the planning of the institutional development in various fields, the NIDA Transformation Model has taken form. This project places importance on institutional development in 4 dimensions, be they instruction, research, academic services, or management.
