บทคัดย่อ/เนื้อเรื่องย่อ: |
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the characteristics of Thai youths having social creative thinking in Thailand 4.0 era, 2) to study the approaches for enhancing Thai youths’ social creative thinking in Thailand 4.0 era, and 3) to synthesize the success factors in enhancing Thai youths’ social creative thinking in Thailand 4.0 era. Mixed method research, namely quantitative research and qualitative research, was employed for conducting this research. The samples for the quantitative research were 720 students from Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Secondary), Debsirin School, Streesmutprakarn School and Praksawithedsuksa School and the samples for the qualitative research were 54 people. The data were collected by the questionnaire assessing Thai youths’ social creative thinking with the reliability of 0.92 and the in-depth interview form. The result revealed that the characteristics of Thai youths having creative thinking can be divided into 2 types: 1) personality, namely 1) bravery, 2) innovative ideas, 3) imagination, 4) thoroughness and 5) effort and dedication, and 2) personal skills, consisting of 1) adaptability skills, 2) problem management skills, 3) practicing and thinking skills, 4) self-responsibility and 5) technology capability. In terms of the approaches for enhancing youths’ social creative thinking, it must start with family. Love, warmth, and care within the family can promote creative thinking. The results also indicated that the youths also needed the curriculum allowing them to manage their own learning. They also wanted the teachers with expertise and ability to provide teaching and learning that stimulates creativity. In addition, the youths also wanted the community or the society to provide spaces for them to do activities, and budget for material support. The vision of the administrators and the clarity on the government policies were also important in promoting youths’ social creative thinking. The study also pointed out that the success factors promoting youths’ social creative thinking included personality and personal skills, support from family, school, community or society and policies from the government and the ministries affecting school management to promote youths’ social creative thinking. |
