Abstract
The research aimed to study the growth performance and nutrition of soybean cultivar Chiang Mai 60 by using Cadmium in soil and the highest acceptable levels of Cadmium contamination in soil that soybean can be cultivated. The experiment was conducted from February 2015 to February 2016 in a completely random design by divided into 6 treatments and 40 replications. Cadmium in soil was used in rates of 0, 20.0, 40.0, 60.0, 80.0 and 100 ppm. The soybeans were conducted in 2 times (f1 and f2 generation). The results showed that soybean growth, yield, proteins and lipids in f1 and f2 generations were significantly related to the intensity of Cadmium in soil at P < 0.05 by the more intensity of Cadmium effected to the worse growth, yield, proteins and lipids. The residues of accumulated Cadmium in seeds including intensity of Cadmium in soil before experiment were significant at P < 0.05. So that Soybean breeder (f1 generation) should be planted in soil without Cadmium for great effectiveness of seed.
