This dissertation examined how public service motivation (PSM), enhanced by workplace trust (WT), will mediate the effects of perceived politics on organizational outcomes in the context of Philippine local bureaucracy. The study investigated the relationship of perception of organizational politics (POP) with organizational commitment (OC), job satisfaction (JS) and workplace stress (WS); and the mediating effects of PSM and WT on these relationships.
