Abstract: |
The study of management potential in secondary airport in Thailand has found that the potential of secondary airport must be significantly encouraged and developed. They need to establish plans and policies for development including infrastructure, facilities and security of the airport. In addition, the potential of staffs in the airport must also be improved to be ready to work and airports always have to cooperate with others both domestic and international airports. Furthermore, they need to develop the transportation and accessibility to be convenient and the system of management in the airport is being able to be as fast as possible. To raise potential of airport thoroughly and permanently, financial management needs to be improved as well.
For the study of factors affecting to permanent development of secondary airport in Thailand, it was found that potential of developmental management in secondary airport affected service quality in secondary airport. It is important to focus on security and rules for controlling and terminating an incident that may occur within the airport. The improvement of employees to be able to serve service and the development of transportation as an alternative way for passengers to transport are also needed. Besides, infrastructures and facilities will have to be improved to meet passenger’s need. it should aim at reducing passenger’s time to enter airport and raising potential management to be fast and systematic. In the part of the study of service quality affecting effectively to development of secondary airport, the airport must be developed by using and applying technology to improve service and give passengers the best service and to extremely meet passenger’s need.
According to the study above, researcher offers the ways to permanently develop management potential of secondary airport in the southern region of Thailand. It is divided into 16 important ways: 1) creating efficient and workable plans and policies that is in the concrete form in the area of the airport. 2) raising quality, controlling security, protecting and terminating an incident permanently. 3) creating training curriculum, examination, and evaluation to the staffs whether their behavior is appropriate to give passengers service or not. 4) developing infrastructure and facilities efficiently and conveniently. 5) encouraging and developing service for being accessible to enter secondary airport fast, conveniently, and variously. 7) developing service that extremely meet passenger’s demand permanently. 8) developing transportation permanently and variously as an alternative way for passengers. 9) manage financial plan efficiently and effectively. 10) encouraging for cooperating permanently with alliance and stakeholder including domestic and international airports. 11) improving distribution in the area of the airport fast and effectively. 12) raising service and management that is punctual and can meet passenger’s need permanently. 13) raising satisfaction of passengers permanently. 14) encouraging to build the building and creating airport that is suitable to environment. 15) developing preventing measure that may occur by airport permanently. 16) encouraging entrepreneurs and stakeholder involving with airport to preserve environment and reduce deterioration of environment affected by airport permanently. |
