Abstract: |
Research on the study of confirmatory factor of participation management of the central regional rice cultivation community-based tourism on the operational performance of rice cultivation community-based tourism in the central region aimed at 1) to analyze the confirmatory factor of the central regional rice cultivation community-based tourism management 2) to analyze the confirmatory factor of the operational performance of rice cultivation community-based tourism in the central region and 3) to examine the congruence of the Structural Equation Model of participation management of the central regional rice cultivation community-based tourism on the operational performance of rice cultivation community-based tourism in the central region. This study was quantitative research with a sample population of people involved in community-based tourism in the central region, namely 1. Bang Chao Cha Community, Ang Thong Province 2. Royal Project Learning Center, Singburi Province 3. Ban Nong Klong Community, Singburi Province 4. Sao Hai Community, Saraburi Province 5. Nong Saeng Community, Saraburi Province 6. Ban Bang Mae Mai Community, Suphan Buri Province 7. Khlong Chik Community, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province 8. Khlong Yong Community, Nakhon Pathom Province. The statistics used in the data analysis were descriptive statistics, Confirmatory Factor Analysis: CFA and path analysis of the structural equation model.
The results of the study revealed that the confirmatory factor analysis of the central regional rice cultivation community-based tourism management found that all criteria were met, therefore it can be concluded that the measurement model of latent variables in the structural equation model developed by the researcher is consistent with the empirical data which the index values pass all the specified criteria. As a result, it can be concluded that factors related to community-based tourism management in the central region include people management (CBT_HUM), area management (CBT_AREA), management (CBT_MAN), and participation management (CBT_PAR). The area management (CBT_AREA) had the highest factor loading of 0.96. Including the results of a confirmatory factor analysis of the measurement model of the operational performance of rice cultivation community-based tourism in the central region, it was found that all criteria were met, therefore it can be concluded that the factors related to the operational performance of rice cultivation community-based tourism in the central region include revenue performance (BSC_REV), tourist performance (BSC_TOUR), internal operating process performance (BSC_PRO), and learning and development performance (BSC_LRN) which had the highest factor loading of 0.89. In addition, the results of the path analysis of the structural equation model found that the area management (CBT_AREA) had the most positive direct influence on revenue performance (BSC_REV) with a direct influence of 0.40. Management (CBT_MAN) had the highest positive direct influence on tourist performance (BSC_TOUR) with a direct influence of 0.45. Area management (CBT_AREA) had the highest positive direct influence on internal operating process performance (BSC_PRO) with a direct influence of 0.52. Area management (CBT_AREA) had the highest positive direct influence on the learning and development performance (BSC_LRN) with a direct influence of 0.39.
From the results of the study, the researcher therefore presents four guidelines for building the performance of tourism operations of the central regional rice cultivation community-based tourism, which are: guidelines for generating revenue performance by improving area management; Guidelines for enhancing tourist performance by improving management. Approaches for creating internal operating process performance by improving area management and guidelines for creating learning and development performance of people in the central regional rice cultivation community-based tourism by developing area management. |
