Is nuclear energy considering as sustainable energy investment

Abstract

This independent study topic for considering nuclear energy as sustainable energy investment has an objective for study as following below 1) To summarize and thus make transparent the facts of sustainability that are reflected in nuclear energy investment. 2) To investigate the perspective on sustainability within the national energy strategies of country currently using or planning to use nuclear energy to answer the question: “Is nuclear energy considering as sustainable energy investment?” by compared with both renewable energy and non-renewable energy e.g. solar, wind, coal. 3) To present what investment risk is, what role it has in the sustainable energy investment decision. By using the study process in sequence as follows. 1) Literature reviewing 2) Stakeholder reviewing (e.g. bank of Thailand, Ministry of Energy, EGAT, etc.) 3) Document screening: Sourcing data from financial reports or counting word occurrences. 4) Document analysis: Examining correspondence or reports.
