Abstract: |
The purpose of this study was to study impact of the Environmental, Economic and Social of Floating Photovoltaic Generation plant: a case study of Rama IX reservoir, Pathum Thani.
For the environmental impact analysis, a field study to collected water sample in the Rama IX reservoir. The parameter studies are Dissolved oxygen, Turbidity, pH, Total Dissolved Solids, Biochemical Oxygen Demand, Conductivity, salinity, Suspended solids, Total Coliform bacteria, Fecal Coliform bacteria and temperature were collected on December 2016, March 2017 and June 2017. Economic impact analysis are Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Benefit Cost Ratio and Payback Period. Social impact analysis from interviews people around the area 5 Km, worker in Rama IX reservoir and Co-operative Department
The results show that environmental impact assessment from Floating Photovoltaic Generation plant does not affect to water quality in Rama IX reservoir because the plant is small compare with the Rama IX reservoir. So, cannot show the affect is clear. Economic impact analysis, when calculated by using discount rate at 7.67% and 3.26% from install Floating Photovoltaic Generation plant of Rama IX reservoir not worth. Because expensive of cost for field education install. When remove cost for field education install show that this project is worth. And Social impact assessment, people around area at 5 km accept the project Because the project can have developed to renewable energy education in the future and stimulate the economy in the area in the future too. Now, the knowledge from this project can solve agricultural problems in Thailand. |
