Abstract: |
The research deliberated on “Nepotism in patronage system and the effectiveness of local administrative organizations by the case study of those are in Muang district of Nakhon Ratchasima province.” It aims to study on local politic under nepotism patronage system which replicates to the work effectiveness of the organizations.
The approach implemented under the conformations of “Qualitative Research” with text studies and the “Observation” for data from political activities in the area and the interview. The interview was completed in 2 conducts which are from the “in-depth interview” from external government officers and community leaders and the “informal interview” with politicians, directors and internal government officers. Then, all minutes were authenticated, examined, analyzed, categorized and presented as a “descriptive research”.
The study initiates that the politic lies under Nepotism in patronage system concur to the local politic system that transmits to patronage system of family and relatives through the descendants of those local politicians. This relation remains invariably and reproduces to create local politic system. This system includes the power structures under “Elite Regime” where the power was shaped from traditions composing with the influential power which also has led to the lawful power of this group whom considered as the top of political pyramid. This power grows under the subject political culture and local deliberative political culture.
The effectiveness of those local administrative organizations was dignified with “The Competing – Values Approach” to be implemented to those organizations with political stability. Therefore, these organizations emphasize the control value which generates the organizational stability as an outcome. The aspect of controls are divided by “Internal Process” which are composed of 4 factors, including (1) control and centralization of power, (2) usual routine and official works, (3) political and administrative stability and (4) predicable work’s outcomes and “Rational Goals” which also comes with 4 factors including (1) work-based focus organization, (2) solid target, (3) Efficiency on working hours and (4) potential organization from external and internal factors.
Furthermore, it was also found that the nepotism in patronage system and the local administrative organization’s effectiveness concludes as 2 measures with 6 factors. First is internal process which includes 3 factors of (1) the influences of power control and centralization, (2) organization’s stability and (3) the effortlessness of organization’s implementation. Second is the rational goal which embrace 3 factors of (1) create solid policy and objective, (2) create effective work and (3) increase organization’s proficiency. |
